Question 1

Do I need technical knowledge to use Winkels?

Accepted Answer

No. Everything is visual and step by step: add your products, choose how you get paid, and your store goes live. If you can use a phone, you can use Winkels.

Question 2

Do you charge sales commissions?

Accepted Answer

No, never a percentage of your sales. You get paid through your own MercadoPago account and the money lands directly in your wallet — it never passes through Winkels. All you pay us is your subscription, plus any optional modules you choose to add. Separately, MercadoPago charges its own payment-processing fees, as with any sale through them.

Question 3

What's the difference between the plans?

Accepted Answer

All of them are unlimited in products, orders, users and sales — what changes is the tools you get. Online Catalog is your storefront: your shop with online orders, without point of sale or stock control. Basic adds the day-to-day operation: point of sale, stock control, daily closing, promotions and coupons, team roles, reports and AI product import. Pro brings what a larger business needs —suppliers, purchase orders, batch and expiry tracking, store credit accounts and delivery with your own drivers— and doubles the monthly AI import quota. Pro Restaurant adds the dining room, with tables and a kitchen panel.

Question 4

Can I switch plans later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you upgrade, you only pay the difference for the days left in your current period, and your cycle doesn't reset. If you downgrade, you keep everything you had until the period you already paid for ends, and only then does the new plan take effect.

Question 5

What happens after the {days}-day trial?

Accepted Answer

If you've authorized a payment method, the first charge goes through and you continue without interruption. If you haven't, we charge you nothing: your store is paused until you decide to activate it. There's no lock-in and no cancellation fee.

Question 6

Does Winkels work for any type of business?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Winkels is multi-category; the catalog, stock, and point-of-sale system adapt to what you sell—whether by the unit, by weight, or with variants and modifiers.

Question 7

Does it work if I also do repairs, not just sales?

Accepted Answer

Yes. With the Repairs module you take the item in, print the receipt the customer keeps and another one that stays with the unit, and follow every order on a board by stage. You add the diagnosis with a quote and send it over WhatsApp so they can decide. If they left a deposit, you charge only the difference at hand-over; and if it turns out it can't be fixed, you can return the whole deposit or keep what the diagnosis was worth. It works for phones, bikes, shoes, appliances, watches and any trade that repairs things.

Question 8

If I cancel my store, do I lose everything I set up?

Accepted Answer

No. When you cancel, your store is paused but nothing is deleted: your products, your sales, your customers and all your settings stay exactly as you left them. If you decide to come back later, whether after two months or after six, just reactivate your subscription and you will find everything where it was, with nothing to set up again.

Question 9

What languages and countries does Winkels support?

Accepted Answer

The platform is available in Spanish, Portuguese and English, and each customer sees your catalog in their browser's language. Registration and payments are currently available in Argentina and Brazil. Our team replies by email or WhatsApp during the hours published in the Help Center.

Question 10

Can I use my current WhatsApp number?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you use your usual number and install nothing. When a customer places an order to pay in cash or by transfer, WhatsApp opens on their phone with the message already written — items, quantities, address and total — ready to send you. And every order shows up in your dashboard instantly, even if the customer never writes.
