Set up delivery

Open in your dashboard

This is where you decide whether you take it to their door in your city, what you charge to take it and how long it takes.

Deliver it or have them collect
Home delivery is switched on and off here: switch it off and the customer can only come and collect. If what you want is to stop taking online orders, that's in Settings, in your store details.
What you charge to take it
You set a fixed delivery price. And if you want, an amount: anyone who spends more than that doesn't pay for delivery. It's an old trick and it still works — the customer adds one more thing just to avoid paying it. If you have the Delivery module and add delivery zones, the price of the zone the customer picks is charged and this rate stops being used.
When you don't know what delivery will cost
If you send things out through a courier app and the price changes every time, switch on «Cost to be agreed». You stop publishing a rate: the customer sees «To be agreed» instead of an amount —and above all instead of «Free delivery»— and the order comes in with delivery at zero but flagged. Once you agree the price with them, you enter it from the order. Shipping to other cities by carrier has its own block, further down.
The time you promise
The minutes you enter are what we show the customer when they finish buying. Put the real time, not the best you ever managed: someone who waits half an hour and gets it in an hour doesn't come back.
A photo as proof
If you turn it on, the driver has to take a photo of the delivered package or the receipt before they can mark the order as delivered. You keep proof that it arrived.

Charge delivery by neighborhood: each zone with its own price, minimum, free-delivery amount and hours.

The video for this tutorial is on its way.

One zone per neighborhood
You give it the name the customer recognizes —Downtown, North Side—, what you charge to take it there and how long it takes. That's enough to work; the rest is optional.
With zones, customers pick theirs
As soon as you have an active zone, picking one is required to order delivery, in the catalog and at the POS, and the fixed rate stops being used. If the customer's neighborhood isn't there, they can't order delivery: add everywhere you deliver. With «Cost to be agreed» on, no zones are asked for.
Minimum, free delivery and hours
Each zone can have its own minimum order, an amount from which delivery is free, and the days and hours you cover it, in your store's time. Outside those hours the customer sees it as unavailable and can't pick it.
Change it or switch it off
The pencil changes it, and switching off «Active zone» stops offering it without losing it. If it has orders in progress it can't be deleted: switch it off and delete it once they're done.

Shipping to other cities

Open in your dashboard

Sell to customers in other cities and ship with the carrier you choose. The customer follows the shipment from their order.

The video for this tutorial is on its way.

An option apart from delivery
You switch on «I ship to other cities» and, at checkout, the customer sees «Shipping to another city» apart from delivery and enters their province and postal code. It doesn't use zones or drivers: you ship it by carrier.
Fixed price or to be agreed
You set one price for any city —and, if you want, the amount from which it's free— or leave it «To be agreed» and enter it on the order once you agree it. Also the delivery time and a note the customer reads when choosing it.
Cash on delivery
If you accept it, the customer pays the carrier when the package arrives. The order stays unpaid until the carrier passes you the money and you mark it paid. Cash on receipt isn't allowed: that's what cash on delivery is for.
The package label
From the order, under «Print», you get the 10×15 thermal label to stick on the package: the sender, the recipient with their address and postal code and, for cash on delivery, how much the carrier collects. It has no carrier data: it is printed before shipping.
Shipped, with tracking
When you send it, on the order you tap «Mark as shipped»: you pick the carrier —or type your own, a bus or a freight service—, the tracking number if you get one and, if you want, a photo of the receipt. The customer sees it on their order tracking, and you can let them know on WhatsApp.

Your delivery team

Open in your dashboard

The people who go out to deliver: who they are, what they're on, and whether they're free right now. Each one sees their deliveries on their phone, with their own account.

The video for this tutorial is on its way.

Active and available aren't the same thing
Active means they exist and you can assign deliveries to them. Available means they're free right now to take one more. An inactive driver doesn't come up when you go to assign.
You invite them, they set up their login
You enter their name, phone and email, and they get an invitation. They choose their own username and password —you never see it— and have 7 days to accept: meanwhile you track it in the Invitations tab, where you can resend or cancel it. If it expires, it's marked Expired and you resend it from there. Once in, from their phone they see their deliveries, change the status and upload the photo showing they dropped it off.
The top shows how the day is going
How many drivers you have, how many are free right now, how many deliveries have gone out today and how long they're taking on average.

Deliveries out on the road

Open in your dashboard

What's going out, who's carrying it and how each one is doing, live. The screen updates itself when a driver changes something, and the ones already delivered move to the history.

The video for this tutorial is on its way.

The numbers at the top are buttons
Pending with no driver, assigned but not yet gone, and on the way. Tap one and the list filters to that state. It's the fastest way to see what still has to go out.
You assign and reassign from the list itself
Put a driver on whatever's pending, change the status, or hand it to someone else if the first one got held up. The driver sees every change right away in their app, and the customer on their order tracking page.
You find a delivery however they describe it
Search by customer, by address, by order number or by driver. Handy when it's the customer calling and all they give you is the street.

Delivery history

Open in your dashboard

Every delivery you've done, not just today's, with who took it and when.

The video for this tutorial is on its way.

For the day you have to check something
A customer says it never arrived, or you want to know what happened with an order from last week. You search it by number, by customer, by address or by the driver who took it.
How much each one delivered
Combine the date filter with the driver filter and you get how much each one did over that period.
You can filter by state too
You can look at only the ones that were delivered, only the ones left pending, or narrow it to whatever date range interests you.

Your drivers' app

What your driver sees from signing in until the order is delivered. Send them the video and they can start without you explaining it.

The video for this tutorial is on its way.

They sign in with their username
Your driver signs in with the username and password they chose when accepting your invitation. They see whether they're available, what they have to deliver now and what they've delivered today.
Their deliveries, with the zone
Each delivery tells them who it's for, the address, the zone and the total. If they work for more than one store, they switch at the top with the same account.
They let the customer know and head out
They call or message the customer on WhatsApp, open the address on the map and mark the order as picked up. Your customer sees it «On the way» in their tracking.
Delivered, with a photo
On arrival they mark it delivered. If you asked for a photo in the Delivery settings, they can't close it without taking one of the package or the receipt.
